Donor Development & Event Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Director of Development
EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED: None
POSITION STATUS: Non-exempt
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree. Three to five years of experience in non-profit fundraising or development environment. Experience in the development, execution, and reporting of major donor and individual donor campaigns. Grant writing experience preferred. Experience cultivating corporate sponsorships/partnerships a plus.

SCHEDULE:
Flexible working hours, 20 hours per week. Schedule may often vary due to deadlines, events, and the general nature of the work. Additional hours are required periodically. Some travel within State is required with mileage reimbursement.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Organize and conduct events, serve as liaison with Board of Directors and Advisory Committees as well as volunteers
- Support the cultivation of donors, corporate sponsors, and volunteers to support the Organization's needs and mission
- Maintains donor database and be proficient in email, individual solicitation, donor engagement correspondence and gift acknowledgements
- Organize, support, and report on direct mail campaigns/solicitations
- Ability to work as a team player
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent people skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds of various materials on an occasional basis
- Ability to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time while performing job-related tasks
