Veteran & First Responder Equine Retreat

Camp Resilience, in partnership with UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Goffstown, NH, invites Veterans and First Responders to spend a meaningful weekend participating in equine-assisted learning activities. This program is facilitated by a skilled team experienced in supporting veterans, first responders, and the unique challenges they face.

Working with and building relationships with horses fosters resilience, personal growth, and well-being—for both humans and the horses.

Activities address health and healing using an unmounted, ground program. Classes are devoted to recognizing verbal and nonverbal communication and developing emotional bonds through trust building exercises. Facilitated by Equine Specialists in Mental Health and Learning, exercises will assist with emotional regulation, anxiety and depression.
