Who We Are
Primarily a volunteer organization, Camp Resilience employs three full time and one part time staff members.
Our dedicated Board of Directors of Veterans and local professionals oversee all operations and programming.
Jeff Ladieu
Executive Director
Jeff is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, organizational leadership, and public safety. A retired Captain from the New Hampshire State Police, he most recently served as Commander of the Justice Information Bureau, overseeing critical units including Communications, Criminal Records, NCIC, and the Sexual Offender Registry.
Throughout his career, Jeff held diverse roles—from SWAT Team and Cold Case Commander to leading the Polygraph and Communications Units. He began his law enforcement journey in Troop F after serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment under U.S. Army Special Operations Command.
Post-retirement, Jeff co-founded a public safety consulting firm and later served as Assistant Director of Public Safety and Police at Endicott College. He now brings his expertise and heart to Camp Resilience, supporting veterans and first responders in healing and growth.
Jeff holds a B.S. in Social Sciences and is completing his M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is a Certified Public Manager, LEAN Black Belt, and graduate of the NCTC Polygraph Institute.
He and his wife Kim live in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region and are proud parents of two sons. Jeff enjoys triathlon training, family time, and helping others find strength through adversity.


Lori Sanderson
Administrative Coordinator
Lori is a dedicated wife, mother, and professional who has spent much of her life balancing family, career, and personal passions. Married to Craig, a retired 30-year military veteran, Lori and her husband have two daughters. The family currently resides in the beautiful Lakes Region after living in Massachusetts and Arizona.
A graduate of Katharine Gibbs School, Lori’s career has included roles at the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Simmons College Graduate School of Social Work, and AllApartments. During her husband’s deployments, Lori chose to be a stay-at-home mom, focusing on raising their daughters and supporting the family through the challenges of military life.
Lori is excited to be part of Camp Resilience, where she supports an organization that actively assists veterans and first responders. She finds great fulfillment in giving back to those who have served, drawing on her personal experience as a military spouse.
In her free time, Lori enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, as well as traveling to explore new places and create lasting memories.
Megan Prescott
Program Coordinator
As a compassionate and dedicated recreational therapist, Megan has experience in helping Veterans improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being through purposeful recreational activities. Megan is committed to enhancing the quality of life for people of all ages.
With a background in working in clinical settings, Megan has developed expertise in creating and implementing individualized therapeutic programs that foster social interaction, physical activity, leisure adaptations, and emotional healing.
Now entering the nonprofit sector, Megan is excited to contribute her knowledge and skills to an organization that shares a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of Veterans and First Responders with varying needs such as disability, mental health diagnoses, and social isolation. Through dedication, creativity, and empathy, Megan is eager to make a lasting impact in the nonprofit field and build strong relationships with the individuals and communities Camp Resilience serves.


Holly Summers
Development Coordinator
Holly is a seasoned nonprofit professional with more than 20 years of experience in operations and fundraising, and a deep, personal connection to the military and first responder communities. Having been the spouse of a service member for over 20 years—including multiple duty stations and deployments—and with more than 12 years of EMS work that followed, Holly brings a genuine appreciation for the unique challenges faced by service members, first responders, and their families.
Her nonprofit career began with the American Red Cross while stationed in Ansbach, Germany. She went on to spend 18 years with The Nature Conservancy, a global conservation organization, where she served primarily as Director of Operations for the New Hampshire Chapter, as well as a regional grant specialist.
Beyond her professional roles, Holly has actively contributed to her community through volunteer work with a variety of organizations, including the NH Pumpkin Festival, the Lakes Region Chamber, NH Audubon and a local foundation focused on Alzheimer’s and dementia care. She is a former Rotarian and remains committed to service and community engagement.
Holly is proud of her family’s continued legacy of service—her daughter served in the Army Reserves as a nurse, and her son is currently serving in the Army National Guard.
In her role as Development Coordinator, Holly is honored to support the mission of serving military and first responder communities by building meaningful connections with donors and partners.
She lives in North Sandwich, NH and enjoys spending time outdoors—hiking, kayaking, golfing, and traveling.
Layla
Mascot
Layla is an adorable 2-year-old English Lab from Connecticut! As the Camp Resilience beloved mascot and comfort dog, she spreads joy and love to everyone around her. Layla has a special affinity for ride-a-longs and cherishes her time visiting military veterans and first responders.
